My Initial Thoughts

I've been thinking alot about my Poppy lately who passed away in August.  He was 87.  He lived a good life and got to see me accomplish many things (I was his only grandchild).  There's some things he will not get to see me do, things that I really wish he would be at.  Two of these things include seeing my graduate with my MBA in May and get married.

What really got me thinking though was he accomplished so much in his 87 years here, he was married to my Grandmom for 60 of those years.  He served in the Navy during World War II and worked at Campbell Soup until 1987 when both he and my grandmother retired to take care of me.  It makes me wonder...what can I accomplish in my lifetime?

I started working on my bucketlist probably a few years ago.  Some of the things I had already accomplished. Most of I haven't.  But lately I have wanted to add to that list.  One of the things I added was to start a blog and actually maintain it.  So here we go, crossing off one of my items to do before I die. What I write about from now on I don't know.  I feel like I might write about my search in finding a job before I graduate in a few months.  Maybe I'll update everyone on how I am doing with crossing items off my bucketlist.  Some days I'll probably just write what I'm thinking.  I may even use this as a way to write down memories I've had.  Wherever this takes me though, I know it will be a fun time.

That's all for now.
